Facts about organic/natural foods

You may find that organic fruits and vegetables spoil faster because they aren't treated with waxes or preservatives.

Organic produce frequently comes in variable sizes and shapes that often look physically imperfect,  whereas non-organic produce all seems to look relatively the same.

It is so since much non-organic produce, is treated with a variety of growth-enhancing substances

Benefits of Brahmi

Brahmi is a plant that has been used in traditional Indian medicine Ayurveda).
Brahmi is used for Alzheimer's disease, improving memory, anxiety, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), allergic conditions, irritable bowel syndrome, and as a general tonic to fight stress.
People also take brahmi to treat backache, hoarseness, mental illness, epilepsy, joint pain, and sexual performance problems in both men and women. It is also sometimes used as a water pill.
How does it work?
Brahmi might increase certain brain chemicals that are involved in thinking, learning, and memory. Some research suggests that it might also protect brain cells from chemicals involved in Alzheimer's disease.

Create your own organic kitchen garden
With today's space constraints, cultivating a garden for pesticide-free vegetables and fruit may seem like a far-fetched idea. But growing and owning an organic kitchen garden is achievable.
Recycle and reuse
You can make use of plastic bottles, buckets and bathtubs to grow vegetables. Take a medium sized bathtub; fill it with soil and home compost to grow cabbages, cauliflowers, capsicums, radish and onions.
Make your own soil
The most important step in kitchen gardening is to make (nutrient-rich soil), which has abundant and diverse microbial life that support healthy plant growth. It is simple to prepare and the results are extremely effective. "Start with what you have. There's no need to buy earthworms or any other stuff. Simply convert your kitchen waste into resource," says Patil. Keep sprinkling some red earth in the pots from time to time.
Mulch your soil
Keep it covered with a layer of dry crushed leaves or sugarcane bagasse. If the waste becomes too wet, add a newspaper, dry leaves, and soil to cover it. This helps in reducing the loss of water due to evaporation. It insulates microbes and organisms in the soil from direct heat and also provides food for them.
Add a dose of a liquid solution comprising cow urine, fresh cow dung, organic black jaggery, and water. Mix together ten liters of water, one liter of cow urine, one kg of fresh cow dung, and fifty grams of organic black jaggery.  Keep this solution for three days.  Stir this solution twice or thrice a day stir it twelve times clockwise and anti-clockwise. On the fourth day, the concentrated solution is ready. Mix one part of this concentrated solution with ten parts of water and it is ready. Add a fistful of wood ash every three months to your soil.

How do I know it's organic?

Organic is a term defined by law. Any food products labeled as organic must meet a strict set of standards which define what farmers and food manufacturers can and cannot do in the production of organic food. So it is important to look for a genuine certification symbol for assurance that the product is truly organic.

All farms wanting to produce organic food have to be certified by one of the registered organic certification bodies and must go through a two-year conversion period before obtaining organic status

Unlike many other food assurance schemes, the combination of legally defined standards and regular third-party inspections means that when you buy an organic product you can be confident that the claims made on the label about how the food has been produced can be believed.

The key to reducing lower belly fat rapidly

Leptin is a key hormone that helps to retain/ burn fat. Insensitivity to Leptin leads to gaining fat & Vice versa
A Woman has 250 times more Leptin in their body than men. During Dieting Leptin levels drops & metabolism drops
Leptin acts to curb appetite and to increase metabolism. So it would seem that you would want to increase leptin levels. But over time, high leptin levels in your blood eventually results in leptin insensitivity - similar to diabetes. Also, genetics makes some people less responsive to leptin than others.

The key question then is what foods make the body more sensitive to leptin?"
The real key is to make your body more sensitive to leptin - so that you will maintain a high metabolic rate and low appetite even if leptin levels drop. And as you lose weight, leptin levels drop, because fat itself causes the body to produce more leptin.
And the answer is that there are indeed some foods that apparently help the body become more efficient at processing leptin. How this works is not yet known - it is still being studied. But we do know that foods that seem to help include: Pulses (kidney beans, pinto beans, navy beans, lima beans, lentils), then other vegetables.

Studies have shown that people's high intake of pulses appears to be effective at decreasing leptin levels (again, increasing leptin sensitivity). After pulses, generally a diet rich in vegetables appears to aid in increasing leptin sensitivity.
Foods high in antioxidants like fresh vegetables and fruits alleviate leptin resistance because they calm inflammation.
The key is to eat green vegetables before 10 AM.
Make eating vegetables in the morning a daily habit. Think of it as taking a vitamin supplement. You can add vegetables to your breakfast have them as a morning snack or just wolf them down in a couple of bites. Try doing this, it won't hurt you.
